BPT18 Photoshop CS4 Custom Panel - FREE!!!

In issue 18 of Better Photoshop Techniques we introduce custom panels for Photoshop CS4. To coincide with the Selections techniques in this issue we have put together an exclusive custom panel that groups together all the key Selection tools and Features. They are presented in the same groupings as the tutorials in BPT 18 providing you with quick and easy access to all the Selection tools you'll ever need in the one convenient spot. Installation instructions:

01 Start by downloading the custom panel from the magazine web site. Next, double click on the MXP panel file to start the installation process.

02 The Adobe Extension Manager CS4 utility will automatically open. This program is used to install and delete 3rd party panels to and from Adobe programs. You may need to click OK to an extensions disclaimer to continue. Once installed the new panel will appear as a new extensions entry for Photoshop.

03 Start Photoshop and then display the entries for the Window > Extensions menu. You will see the new panel listed here. Select the panel to display it in the main Photoshop workspace.

04 Depending on the contents of the panel (embedded or linked movies etc.), you may receive a message window asking you to close and redisplay the panel the very first time you select it. Simply right-click on the panel's title bar and select Close from the pop-up menu. Then reselect the panel entry from the Extensions menu. Now you are set to go!
